I’m a journalist focusing on environmental issues facing coastal Louisiana. I hold a Masters in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University and I’m a Fellow in the International League of Conservation Writers. I’m currently a member in both the Society of Environmental Journalist and Investigative Reporters and Editors.
I believe that South Louisiana is home to one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. An ecosystem that is constantly under threat by oil spills, hurricanes, and coastal erosion. It’s also been subject to severe neglect by the government and citizens of Louisiana. I hope to change that by bringing you stories of the challenges facing Louisiana and it’s coastal communities and the people working daily to fight and solve those challenges.
